Drake has over 25 years of experience in the hockey industry. During his playing career, Drake enjoyed much success. Before being drafted to the National Hockey League, 10th overall, Drake was named the Canadian Defenseman of the Year, and was the #1 pick to the Ontario Hockey League. He played in the NHL for over 13 years with 6 different NHL teams, and also won a Championship with the Eisbaren Berlin of the German Elite League in his last season of playing.
Over the last 7 years, Drake has taken his hockey knowledge and applied it to coaching. He has worked as a coach in the AHL, WHL, ECHL and OHL, and even had a one year stint as a GM. He has also completed Level 1 and 2 of Hockey Canada’s High Performance Coaching certification.
His multi-faceted knowledge of the game has positioned him well to take on the creation of a new tool to help hockey stakeholders at all levels of the game.
Chief Executive Officer
Danielle has over 10 years experience in sales and marketing roles at several Tier 1 Consumer Packaged Goods companies. Most recently, she was responsible for the development of the go-to-market strategies for a number of leading product portfolios.
Danielle has also worked for the CFL and has much experience working with Hockey Canada, NHL, NHLPA, and most recently, the NHL Alumni Association in various capacities
Danielle’s role is to oversee the day to day operations and to develop the go to market strategy for statstrack.
Board of Directors
Phil Jameson is a designated accountant (CGA, CPA) with a tremendous track record of leading companies through their growth phase.
After starting his career at IBM, he was involved in the launch of Nulogix, a personal computer and peripheral repair business that grew to 400 employees and $35M in revenue in it’s fifth year. Mr. Jameson then joined Stock Transportation which was Canada’s second largest school bus operator and was instrumental in growing the business from $45M to over $150M in annual revenue. As CFO, Phil led 5 successful acquisitions and ultimately the sale of Stock to a U.K. based public company. Mr. Jameson moved to another family run business called The Foray Group and through his leadership, the business had annual revenue growth in excess of 20%. Since 2012, Mr. Jameson has been the CFO of Metro English Canada, the leading distributor of free daily newspapers in Canada. He led the growth of this business into four new markets during a time when the newspaper business was under great pressure, through unique and innovative execution.
Phil brings his skills as a mentor and coach to Statstrack with the goal of leading the company through its’ initial growth phase.
